A very good friend of mine created the word antisiseptic. Pronounced the Greek way Andi...etc. she always merged the words antiseptic and disinfectant for some reason
The usual suspects like basketa and marketa were used by my parents when we went shopping down Walthamstow market.
But it was their habit of adding letters or taking letters away from words that made no sense. The Co-Operative was Coperative. Sainsbury's was Says-bouris. But words like people were always peeples.
I've tweeted you my two favourites
Buseri drove the bus. They got that from a Fifiri sketch. Fishatiko is the most perfect Grenglish word for me. I actually still use that one.
